Meet The Server: Michelle Grasshoff

From Rochester, NY to Korea to St Louis, Michelle Grasshoff has truly seen the world. After so many travels, she’s now been in the St Louis area for 5 years and loves it. She’s close to her children, whom she’ll not hesitate in telling you that she’s proud of. For the past 5 years Michelle has worked at Sunny Street Café in Wentzville, and enjoys the freedom it gives to spend more time with her family.

MEET THE SERVER: MICHELLE GRASSHOFF

Tell me a bit about your children.

  • My son just became a St Louis county policeman and I’m so proud of him! My daughter has a corporate job, but she also works for MaryKay and just earned her first free car! I couldn’t be more proud of my kids.

Do you travel a lot?

  • Well my daughter was born in Korea. My ex-husband was in the service and we lived in Korea for a year. For a year I used an outhouse! I’m really glad I did it, I learned a lot, but it made me really proud of where I come from. I really looked forward to having a bathroom with plumbing and eating fast food. So I guess I don’t travel a lot, but I’ve traveled. I’m really a homebody.

What do you like to do in your free time?

  • A good glass of wine and anything Italian- any kind of pasta, makes me happy! Someday I’d really like to go to Italy.

What is your favorite TV show?

  • I really love watching The Walking Dead. I’m not really in to the whole zombie thing, but I like watching them work together, survive, and help each other.
